The Abby is available in 3 different heights (800mm, 1200mm & 1700mm), and is suitable for small, medium or large bathrooms. Designed with energy efficiency in mind, R3 dual fuel towel warmers are Eco Design / Lot 20 compliant.

This dual fuel towel rail connects to both central heating and electric, designed so that you can use it all year round. The R3's state of the art technology is integrated into a single element head to ensure a tidy installation, removing the need for additional unsightly connections and receiver boxes. The R3 comes with open window detection, turning the towel rail off automatically when your trying to cool down the room.

The element's settings can be changed with the user-friendly remote control. The timer's schedule is programmed and stored using the remote. As the information is stored in the remote rather than the radiator, it's quick and easy to re-programme the element should a power cut wipe the memory. Also, multiple elements can be programmed from one remote.

The R3 also has manual controls on the front face, allowing temperature adjustment and a 2 - 4 hour boost facility if the remote is ever lost. The R3 towel radiator has two thermostat options. Towel Rails, especially in a chrome finish, can be extremely hot to touch. Controlling the surface temperature lets you choose how hot the towel rail will be to touch. This is useful in preventing the risk of children or the elderly from burning themselves. It is also ideal if you're drying towels, as the thermostat recording is isolated from external heat sources, which would interfere with your towel drying.

If the radiator is used as the room's heat source the air temperature thermostat will regulate the radiator based on room temperature. The element and remote control have an anti-tamper lock. Create your own pin code to unlock the radiator and prevent the element's setting from being messed around with.

Dual Fuel - Year Round Heat. Dual Fuel means the towel rail can be heated from the central heating system or as an electric rail. This allows for heat during the summer when, hopefully, the climate is warm enough for you to turn off your central heating. This is an extremely simple procedure - you simply close one valve and turn the electric element on.

Dual Fuel - Electric Mode. To use in electric mode, you simply tighten one of the dual fuel valves until it is closed and switch the element on.

Dual Fuel Valves - Central Heating Mode. With the electric element turned off, your dual fuel towel rail becomes like any other radiator in the house.

When the central heating is switched on, the towel rail warms up. Our angled dual fuel radiator valves are a study and well made, composed of solid brass with chrome plating.

The valves are screwed into the bottom of the towel rail's vertical pipes. The electric element is then scrbewed into the bottom of one of the dual fuel valves.

The opposing valve has a blank plug connected to the remaining socket. The central heating pipes connect at a 90 degree angle to the towel rail.

So they can come straight out of the inside of the wall, or run horizontally along the wall to connect to the valves. Alternative Dual Fuel Valve Option. If you need the central heating pipes to connect to the towel rail vertically, by coming up out of the floor, we can supply our alternative dual fuel valve kit on request. This consists of two straight radiator valves and two t-pieces. The t-pieces are inserted into the towel rail first, and the valves attach the their right angled socket, allowing the dual fuel towel rail to accept pipes from below.
